In 2020, a group of engineers looked at the way robotics was being sold in Saudi Arabia and saw a gap nobody was fixing. Machines were arriving in boxes. Manuals were arriving in the wrong language. And when something broke, the support disappeared with the invoice.
They didn’t set out to become another importer. They set out to become the missing layer — for the facilities manager whose lobby needs to shine by 7 a.m., the hotel operator who can’t afford downtime, and the family who wants their home clean without thinking about it.
That’s the company Zytona became. Not a shop that sells robots. An engineering practice that happens to sell robots — because the hardware is only half the job. The other half is the site survey that catches the obstacle nobody mentioned, the training that turns a nervous new user into a confident operator, and the phone call that gets answered when something needs fixing.
We named the company for the olive — a tree that takes root slowly, grows for generations, and rewards patience with something worth having.
